Haynes Glass were contracted to install custom showers and a glass floor in two apartment buildings in the development on Vinegar Lane in Ponsonby. A couple of the challenges we faced included precise colour matching of channel and hinges to tapware and towel rails, the accurate measure and installation of floor to ceiling showers in tight spaces and transportation of a huge panel of specialty flooring glass onto the roof via crane. The shower and glass flooring in Lot 2 was featured on the Grand Designs program near the end of 2017.
